At Calivio, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Calivio iOS application. Our fundamental principle is that your health data belongs to you.
HealthKit Usage Disclosure
Calivio requests read and write access to specific data types in Apple's HealthKit, such as Step Count, Sleep Analysis, and Heart Rate. This integration is strictly used to provide you with comprehensive wellness insights within the app. Your HealthKit data is never used for marketing or advertising purposes. All HealthKit data remains locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers without your explicit, opt-in consent for secure cloud backup.
Camera Usage Disclosure
Our app requires access to your device's camera to allow you to take photos for your visual wellness journal. Photos taken using the app are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. We do not use facial recognition or any other biometric processing on your images.
Photo Library Usage Disclosure
Calivio requests access to your Photo Library so you can import existing photos into your wellness journal. We only access the specific photos you select within the app's image picker. We do not scan your photo library or upload unselected images to our servers.
Data Collection Practices
We minimize data collection. The core functionality of Calivio operates entirely on-device. If you create an optional Calivio Account for cross-device syncing, we collect your email address, basic profile information, and an encrypted backup of your wellness data. We utilize industry-standard end-to-end encryption for all synced data.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage analytics to improve the app's stability and performance, provided you have opted in to share analytics with developers via your iOS device settings.
Account Deletion Information
You have the right to delete your Calivio account and all associated data at any time. To do so, open the Calivio app, navigate to Settings > Account, and tap "Delete Account". This action is irreversible and will immediately purge all your personal data from our cloud servers. Locally stored data on your device must be deleted by uninstalling the application.
